There is a few differences if the flat tyre is in the front wheel or in the back wheel. So, choose now the affected wheel:

To make it easier, turn upside down your bike. If you have a bell ot a cyclocomputer, remember to remove it before, to avoid scratching it!

While you keed pressing, release the brake cable pulling up. Now, you are able to remove the wheel.

V - Brake

Firts, if you have V - Brake, Cantilever brakes or road, you have to release the brake cable before being able to remove the wheel. To release the brake cable, press with your hands where the arrows show:
