Fixing a flat tyre

For fixing a flat tyre you will need the next tools:

Tyre levers

Pump

Wrench tool

Firts, if you have V - Brake or Cantilever brakes, you have to release the brake cable before being able to remove the wheel. To release the brake cable, press with your hands where the arrows show:

V - Brake

Cantilever

While you keed pressing, release the brake cable pulling up. Now, you are able to remove the wheel. If you have disk brakes, skip this step, you don't need to do anything.

To make it easier, turn upside down your bike. If you have a bell ot a cyclocomputer, remember to remove it before, to avoid scratching it!

There is a few differences if the flat tyre is in the front wheel or in the back wheel. So, choose now the affected wheel:
