Wheel doesn't spin smooth
Lift the wheel and make it spin with your hand. Does it spin smooth? Does it make noise at some points when it is spinning? If this is happening, it can be happening because of some reasons. Do the next check step by step:
If you removed your wheel not long time ago, maybe it is not correctly fitted in the slots. If its not correctly fitted in the slots, the rim can contact the brake pads or the tyre can contact the frame or the fork. If you have disc brakes the brake disc can also have contact with the brake pads. This contact makes the wheel to stop and sometimes produce noise
1º. The wheel is not correctly fitted in the slots
2º. The brakes are not correctly adjusted
Lift the wheel and make it spin. Look at the brake pads. If they contact the rim continuously during a whole turn, the brakes need to be adjusted.
3º. The rim is not straight
This is only a problem if you are not using disc brakes. Only if you are using the next brakes:
V- Brake Cantilever
To check if the rim is straight, lift the wheel and make it spin fast. Look at the brake pads. If the rim is not straight it will make contact with the brake pads just at some points, but not during the whole turn. Learn how to make your rim straight and avoid those contacts
